Still a work in progress, but for some quick get-to-know-me things, here are a 100 Facts about yours truly.
001. I only started drinking coffee when I was 18. Now I'm addicted to it.
002. I love breakfast food. I can eat it all day, every day.
003. I almost always ship the couple that will either (a) never happen or (b) not be together in the end.
004. I don't like any kind of e-reader. I much prefer to hold an actual book.
005. I have 7 tattoos, but no piercings. Not even my ears.
006. I hate seafood. Only clam chowder and that's more a soup.
007. I'm German on my dad's side and Belgium on my mom's side.
008. I met my two best friends while working at Barnes & Noble.
009. I do tarot readings. Still a beginnger, but I practice as much as I can.
010. My friend got me hooked on anime/manga Superbowl Sunday 2009. Neither of us watch football so she made me watch InuYasha. The rest is history.
011. I'm spiritual, but not at all religious. I don't agree with any form of organized religion.
012. I cannot get over the way X-Men Origins: Wolverine ruined the character of Gambit. Seriously, I can barely watch the movie because of that.
013. The amount of randomness on my iPod is hysterical. It once played Mambo #5 after Rammstein while we had it blasting at work. Classic.
014. I like Leona Lewis, but hate "Bleeding Love."
015. I absolutely loathed The Blair Witch Project. Thought it was one of the most boring movies I had ever seen.
016. I met Joel McHale after seeing his comedy show in New York. Don't believe me: Here's a picture!
017. Peyton's power was inspired by Disturbed's "Down With the Sickness."
018. I compile soundtracks for a lot of the stories I write. Said soundtracks usually get their own iTunes playlist and album art design.
019. I played volleyball and softball in high school. I only miss volleyball.
020. I'm almost always up before 10 am and asleep before 12 am. I'm more of an early bird than a night owl.
021. I love mint chocolate anything... scents, lip gloss, ice cream, etc...
022. When the weather changes from winter to spring or summer to fall, my voice becomes extremely raspy. My sister says I sound like Sophia Bush when it happens.
023. Someone at work nicknamed my two best friends and I the Trinity, which ended up inspiring a trilogy I'm working on.
024. I named my car Sesshomaru after my favorite character from InuYasha.
025. I can't watch sports on TV. I get too bored. I much prefer going to the actual stadium and watching it there.
026. I was obsessed with Alf when I was little. My mom said I had Alf pajama's that I wore almost every night. I had a lamp, doll, etc...
027. I love listening to movie/TV DVD commentary. It's interesting to hear how they pulled off a certain shot or what the actors really think.
028. I hate talking on the phone.
029. I feel some TV shows shouldn't stay on the air for more than 3-4 seasons. The majority usually lose their gusto after four years. Not all, but most.
030. I don't like unnecessary movie sequels. Some are perfect as stand alone films. Sequels made to just make money are often some of the worst movies I see.
031. I love playing The Sims, though mostly just to build awesome houses. I have maybe 3-5 families that I actually play with.
032. I went through almost all of high school constantly straightening my hair. I hated my curly hair back then, but now I absolutely love it.
033. Belle is my favorite Disney girl-turned-princess.
034. I've loved vampires since first seeing Bela Lugosi in Dracula when I was 4. They are my favorite horror movie monster.
035. I prefer to shop by myself or with one other person. I get done faster.
036. I warn people that if they borrow my books, they better not come back with cracked spines or rips. I'm very possessive of my library and hate when I loan them out and they come back as though they've been through the war.
037. I love pumpkin flavored coffee, lattes, muffins, ice cream, etc... It's one of my favorite things about fall.
038. I really only go to the movies on Sunday mornings for the first showing. The tickets are cheaper and there's less people.
039. I absolutely hate it when people look at their phones in the movie theater. If you have to answer a text message right then and there then you aren't interested in the movie. GTFO!
040. I'm not even halfway through these 100 Facts yet and I'm running out of things to say.
041. I always bring a book with me wherever I go, even if I know I won't have a chance to read. Just knowing the book is in my bag makes me feel better.
042. No matter where I go or who I'm with (friends/family/etc), I tend to observe and listen more than actually talk, though get me started on a topic I'm passionate about and I'll go on for hours.
043. Purple is my favorite color and I try to incorporate it into my wardrobe everyday. If not with clothes, then with nail polish, jewelry, etc.
044. I hate hot weather, which in turn makes me dread summer. I'm not a beach person either. I'll go at night when everyone's gone and I can walk along the shore with the cool breeze. Other than that, I stay inside and wait for fall.
045. I have never smoked a cigarette nor done any type of drug. The only thing I drink is Malibu & Coke and the occasional beer, but that happens very rarely.
046. I suffer from mild depression, but my friends and family help me keep it under control.
047. When I get really mad or upset, I shut down and no one can get through to me until I'm ready to come out of it.
048. I can fall asleep anywhere if I'm tired enough. Once my friends left me in the car while they ran in to get Dunkin Donuts. We were coming home late from Dave & Busters. I had no clue we even stopped or that they got out of the car. I've also been told I sleep like the dead.
049. My family always makes fun of me because I'm very strict about having my tea at 8 pm.
